The museum would not be able to offer the depth of visitor services and programs without the help of our volunteer corps — your service is vital to museum operations.
Museum volunteers have the opportunity to work with projects such as the Queen Anne’s Revenge, at the Watercraft Center, with group programs, during the Wooden Boat Show and in many other areas. The museum also offers a number of “volunteer only” programs, such as our annual volunteer luncheon, ice cream social, field trips, and behind-the-scenes look at the museum’s projects and exhibits. Whether getting out and meeting new people is your interest or sharing your craft with another, we have a place for you. We welcome you to join our museum family and help keep the North Carolina Maritime Museum one of the best attractions in the state! For information on volunteering, contact Volunteer Coordinator Courtney Felton at 252-504-7759 or via email.
